The PHC Staff team, based in the USA, had a chance to travel to C.A.R. together this month.  Barb Wooler, Brenda Artrip, Kathy Brand,  Miriam Pacheco, Sylvia Totzke, Judi Orme, and Charis Orme all traveled to Bangui to work at the PHC Welcome Center December 1st-10th.

One of the main tasks for the team was to assemble and prepare Christmas gifts to give to the orphans.  Over 900 packages, generously provided by the Orphan Sponsors, were assembled. In addition to this task, the team photographed each one of the children for a Christmas card that will be sent out to the Sponsors. What a wonderful time we had visiting with the children and the staff there!

This trip also fulfilled the goal of having the USA-based staff and C.A.R.-based staff meet together, on African soil, to discuss the progress of  Project Hope and Charite, and to assess the future needs of the ministry.  We were also able to visit the Widow’s Gardens, and have a time of fellowship with the ladies at a special assembly on our last day there.  The Lord is doing an amazing work through Project Hope and Charite, and your support is touching many lives: the children, the widows, the teachers and the pastors all have experienced  the love and generosity of brothers and sisters in the States.

Please take a moment to view the Christmas Caper Video posted on the homepage.   You’ll be delighted to see what the Lord has done through PHC.
