At least for one semester, PHC sponsor Ashley Murray became a researcher, in part to fulfill a course requirement for Columbia International University Seminary and School of Missions. But this was more than just a course requirement, Africa and orphans are close to Ashley’s heart.
Being raised in the Aiken, South Carolina Grace Brethren Church and also being the daughter of Peggy Wojtowicz, gaining a heart for Africa and orphans has come naturally for Ashley, but the pursuit of that passion is 100% Ashley.
Ashley’s report gives an excellent description of the orphan situation in Africa, the forces that brought it to a crisis stage, and how it is and can be addressed through believers and God’s word.
Ashley and husband Jim are now on staff with the Aiken Grace Brethren Church gaining experience in ministry. Their ultimate goal is vocational Christian ministry as the Lord leads.
