This month finished up a round of dentist visits for Project Hope & Charité kids. Last year, Doctor Dibona looked at each orphan and made a list of kids with cavities. Every Monday and Thursday then, these kids were brought by bus and taxi and truck to see the dentist! The Cabinet Dentaire is a Grace Brethren ministry that services the public in Bangui. Dentists filled or pulled cavities of about eight orphans each visit. The kids were so brave!
Now that the cavities have been cared for, PHC can begin bringing in all the children for routine cleaning! Thanks to the generous donation of two sonic scalars from a dentist in the States, the beautiful smiles of our 500 kids will be even brighter!
