Thanks to a generous gift, on February 25th many PHC orphans were treated to a new set of clothes. The smiles on the faces were priceless. These clothes were reserved for the children who were the most needy, but all the children receive uniforms for school.
Fortunately the shorts had elastic waste bands that could be adjusted. Until this was discovered, more than a few little boys ended up with their shorts down at their ankles! It was fun to watch the older boys help the younger ones.
It still is amazing that doing so little — like giving a new pair of shorts — can make a child so happy here. Many thanks to sponsors and all donors whose giving is making such a difference for hundreds of orphans in Bangui, Central African Republic.
