Corn, sweet potatoes, and rice are among the first fruits that have been appearing on the tables of these widows, all of whom are caring for orphans and fatherless children.
In November Barb Wooler visited the two gardens as the women worked to bring in the harvest. Rice grown on one of the gardens will be purchased by PHC and served as rice porridge to PHC children.
