Located about 200 miles north of Bangui, Pama is quinessential HnH school, located in a town full of orphans.  The disproportionate number of orphans is due mostly to the combined forces of HIV/AIDS infections and polygamous marriages. When a man dies he can leave behind two or three families of children.

Teacher Blaise was taken on in the second year of the school when the first teacher, Emmanuel Bouyete, was called to be the Africa-Based Coordinator for HnH schools.  The Ashland GBC (Ohio, USA) has been a faithful and caring partner for the Pama teacher and students for four years now.
